This modality is a fusion of western reflexology and an eastern philosophy regarding energy, and the physical body. What does this mean? Our bodies run on an energetic grid known as the meridian system. Our meridians correspond with our organs, bony structure, cells and such… When our meridians are out of balance, our physical body can become out of balance. This is where the fusion aspect of reflexology comes to play.

By balancing the energetic body, the physical body soon follows. A skilled practitioner is able to feel these imbalances through their hands, or their intuitive awareness.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a scientific technique of applying pressure to various pressure points located along the feet, hands and ears a.k.a., auriculotherapy. These points correspond to glands, organs, and other parts of the body. By working various points a skilled practitioner is able to discern whether or not certain points may need to be stimulated, or sedated. Reflexology is beneficial for restoring balance and harmony in the body by releasing tension. In doing so, it can facilitate a deep state of relaxation, calm emotions, and produce a serene mind. When the body is balanced – it is better able to heal itself. Reflexology can help with: pain management, stress, anxiety, blood pressure, insomnia, nausea, and many other symptoms of dis-harmony and dis-ease.

Medical Massage

Medical Massage is a combination of: Trigger Point Therapy, Myotherapy, and or, Neuromuscular Therapy; accompanied with resistance massage. Trigger points are tiny knots that develop in a muscle when it is injured or overworked. Neuromuscular Therapy, by definition: Is the utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and the central nervous system.

Medical Massage will address these five elements that may be causing you pain:

1: Ischemia: Lack of blood supply to soft tissues which causes hypersensitivity to touch

2: Trigger Points: Highly irritated points in muscles which refer pain to other parts of the body

3: Nerve Compression or Entrapment: Pressure on a nerve by soft tissue, cartilage or bone Postural

4: Distortion: Imbalance of the muscular system resulting from the movement of the body off the

longitudinal and horizontal planes

5: Biomechanical Dysfunction: Imbalance of the musculoskeletal system resulting in faulty movement patterns (i.e., poor lifting habits, bad mechanics in a golf swing of tennis stroke, computer keyboarding)

Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui that utilizes prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body’s energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health. In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this subtle energy as Chi. It is also called Ruach or the Breath of Life in Hebrew.

Pranic Healing is a simple yet powerful & effective system of no-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air and ground to address physical & emotional imbalances. Master Choa Kok Sui says “Life Energy or prana is all around us. Based on this principle, a healer can draw in Pranic Energy or Life Energy from the surroundings.”

Cranial Sacral Therapy

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics. Using a soft touch, which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, by bringing the body back into balance.

E.F.T/T.F.T

EFT/TFT is a form of psychological acupressure that uses a gentle tapping technique instead of needles to stimulate traditional Chinese acupuncture points.  The tapping on the designated points on the face and body can be combined with verbalizing the identified problem, or not ( this is dependent upon the recipient, and whether dialoging is desired).

Combining these ingredients of the EFT/TFT technique balances the energy system. By balancing your energies you are better able to heal. This restores the balance of the energy system which allows the body and mind to resume their natural healing abilities.  EFT/TFT is safe, easy to apply, and is non-invasive.

EFT/TFT is beneficial in alleviating: phobias, physical pain, trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorder, chronic issues and self sabotaging behavior patterns. This service is available in person, computer (Skype), or phone ( FaceTime).

Angela has used both EFT/TFT in her own personal weight loss journey. While alleviating cravings and self sabotaging beliefs; she was successful in losing over 40 lbs.
